Viking RCMP arrest male on warrant and new charges

On September 17, 2025, Viking RCMP arrested Bruce Lea Blyan, a 46-year-old male, on 24 warrants and 3 new charges related to person offences. Viking RCMP targets idlers with education campaign

The Viking RCMP will monitor idle vehicles on public streets from January 20-24, between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Officers will educate owners about the risks of idling, except for remotely started cars. Sgt. Ray Stack also urges prevention of auto theft by not leaving keys inside vehicles and using remote starters.
