In a relatively short time, the Lamont Leader has already won best historical feature story in Canada for its spread on the 50th anniversary of the train/bus collision at Lamont which killed numerous school children, mostly from the Chipman area.
The Lamont Leader is distributed into, and covers news from, Bruderheim, Lamont, Andrew, Mundare, Chipman, Star, St. Michael and Hilliard; all communities within Lamont County.
