It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stanley “Stan” Sr. Kowal of Chipman, Alberta, who passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, with his loving family by his side.
Stan will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 58 years, Irene; son, Stan Jr. (Dawn); daughter, Lisa (Rick); cherished grandchildren, Tyrell, Walter, Samantha, and Paris; brother, Walt (Jenni); sister, Fran; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Funeral Home, 5208 – 50 Avenue, Lamont.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Roman Catholic Church, 10004 – 101 Street, Fort Saskatchewan. Interment will follow at St. Bonaventure Roma Catholic Cemetery in Chipman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation in Stan’s memory.
