Smoky Lake RCMP

A truck driver lost control of his tanker due to snowy road conditions near Smoky Lake on Nov. 6, resulting in the truck ending up in the North Saskatchewan River. Rescued by the Smoky Lake Fire Department, the driver escaped after climbing onto the overturned truck, while oil spilled into the river, prompting a cleanup response.
