JP’s Country Daycare located in Daysland is currently hiring for a full time cook for a busy daycare located in Daysland, a quiet yet busy community in East Central Alberta.
We provide Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch and PM snack.
Start time would be at 6:30am till 4:30pm, with Mondays OFF. The daycare is closed on all Statutory holidays and weekends. It is also closed for a week during the summer and a week over Christmas which will fluctuate due to the school calendar. Must attend staff meetings that are held 4 times throughout each year.
This position involves:
• A Criminal Record & Vulnerable Sector Check is mandatory for this position,
• Must hold a Food Handler Certificate,
• Maintain good personal hygiene,
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and allergy guidelines,
• Maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized kitchen environment,
• Be organized and use time efficiently,
• Managing inventory and doing a weekly grocery list for a 6 week rotating menu.
