It is with great sadness that we announce that Elsa Joy Catherina Schacher passed away at the age of 70.
Joy is survived by her loving family: brother Arlee (Jennifer); sister Gayelynn; and her three nephews Anthony, Adam and Dustin. Joy was predeceased by her mother Loretta Yakubow and her father Elmer Schacher.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 1:00 pm at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chipman, Alberta, with dinner and fellowship to follow.
