Update: Tofield RCMP advises public that missing youth Mya Michaud found safe

 

Update: Tofield RCMP would like to advise the public that Mya Michaud was located safe. Alberta RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

 As published in the July 29 edition of The Tofield Mercury, Tofield RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Mya Michaud.

Mya was last seen in Beaver County, Alta., on July 23, 2026, around 8:30 p.m. RCMP is worried for her wellbeing and would like to speak with her.

Mya is described as:

• Pale complexion;
• 5 feet, 6 inches;
• 125 pounds;
• Black hair;
• Blue eyes; and
• Last seen wearing black pants and a black hoodie.
