In Loving Memory
Courtney Robyn Bryks

On June 7, 2026, Courtney Robyn Bryks passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side.
She was born on September 19, 1983, the fourth of five children to Roy and Vicky Bryks. She was doted on by her older sisters and became a playmate for her younger brother. She was a beautiful soul, always ready with a joke or sarcasm at Mom’s expense.
Family meant everything to Court. She loved to hang out with her nieces and nephews, often sending cash gifts to them with signed cards from her and the dogs. She was the “cool aunty Nokki” who turned every outing into a little adventure – whether it was a trip for ice cream, a movie night, or a stop at the gas station for a loot bag. She became quite the chef, often making different dishes to satisfy the family. Courtney had a special gift for caring for others. Her gentle touch and compassionate nature made her a natural working with hospital patients, and she devoted herself to caring for Dad throughout his illness. A proud fur mama, Courtney adored her dogs – Kisses, James Bond, Boom-Boom and Chugs – and they adored her. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including fresh flowers and watching movies on the big screen tv.
Courtney will never be forgotten. She was larger than life and we will always include her in our future gatherings and conversations. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved mom, Vicky; big, bossy sisters Terra, Tracy (Brent), and her Ukrainian twin and partner in crime, brother Roy; treasured nephews and nieces Josh, Brayden, Kassandra (Riley), Haillee and Jaeda (Ryan); and her good friends Lucy, Jarrett, Joe and Jeremiah. Courtney was predeceased by her sister Draea, dad Roy, and her spoiled dogs, Luka and Bear Bear.
Court, we will love you forever and never stop talking about you, whether you like it or not, LOL. Vichnaya Pamyat
A private funeral has been held and she was laid to rest at our family cemetery. Heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at the Misericordia ICU who cared for Courtney during her short stay.
