Card of Thanks

Our family sends a huge thank you to the Viking community and all those who supported us during the recent sudden lose of Warren Hodgins – husband, father, father-in-law, gramps, brother and uncle. To the United Church and Reverend Scott Reynolds who gave the most perfect service for Warren – the “old farmer” and every word, the Bible verses and songs were so fitting. To our church family and staff for attending and supporting, to Brian for help at the church and for Janet for the beautiful music.

The pall bearers – grandsons – Warner, Rhett, Mason and Jax, nephews Blair, Hilson, Robbie and special friend Trevor. To the many lifelong friends, who stood as honorary pallbearers and honour guard and who were with our family through this very sad time.

Many beautiful bouquets were received and each house enjoyed them immensely. Thank you all. The food to the house was much appreciated and we were pleased to have it and to have such great friends delivering it to us.

We are so impressed with all the beautiful cards and the sympathy wishes that each family’s card brought to us. For all the phone calls and visits (especially my Royal Purple friends). There were many donations to Lake Oliva Cemetery and that will go to good use, caring for this beautiful little country cemetery.

A special thank you to Carol Kinzer (Flavour Fusion Catering of Killam) and her staff for organizing the lunch. It was a last-minute call and you gals did a perfect job. So very much appreciated!

A huge thank you to the Lake Oliva executive for all the assistance at the cemetery and for the wonderful bouquet, adorned in wheat for the farmer! Thank you to the Viking Funeral staff for their guidance. The Hodgins families – Dawn, Brad, Margo, Warner, Rhett, Bart, Jamie, Mason and Jax.
