Update: Wainwright RCMP would like to advise the public that police will be clearing the area in Irma and that travel to the area can resume. Wainwright RCMP thanks the public for their cooperation.
Tuesday morning, March 31, Wainwright RCMP advised the public of a heavy police presence in Irma due to an ongoing investigation. The public was asked to please avoid the area of 49 street, between 50 and 52 ave, while police responded and conducted their investigation.
