Strathcona County RCMP recover significant amount of stolen property

On July 31, 2025, Strathcona County RCMP Crime Reduction Unit entered into a stolen property investigation at a rural location near Range Road 231 and Township Road 522 in Strathcona County.  Members observed stolen vehicles as well as vehicles where the vehicle identification number (VIN) had been tampered with.

On December 5, 2025, with the assistance of the Alberta RCMP Auto Theft Unit, a search warrant was executed on the property.  Three utility trailers, two holiday trailers, two pickup trucks, two conducted energy weapons (CEW), a stolen passport and several fraudulent IDs were recovered.  The value of the recovered property exceeded $200, 000.

Douglas Adair (48), a resident of Strathcona County, was charged with:

  • Possession of stolen property obtained by crime over $5000 (x3)
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon
  • Possession of a weapon contrary to an order

Following a Judicial Interim Release hearing, Adair was remanded into custody.

Beverly Bolin-Wohlgemuth (37), a resident of Strathcona County, was charged with:

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Possession of forged documents
  • Illegal possession of government documents
  • Failing to comply with a Release Order

Following a Judicial Interim Release hearing , Bolin-Wohlgemuth was remanded into custody.

Chantel Look-Marshall (31), a resident of Strathcona County, was charged with:

  • Possession a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Illegal possession of government documents

Look-Marshall was released from custody and will appear before the Alberta Court of Justice in Sherwood Park on February 4, 2026.
