Holden Council determines local board appointments

The Village of Holden Council held a special meeting on Nov. 10 to appoint members to various boards and committees. Key appointments included Councillor Alan Ramshaw and Councillor Tammy Hill for multiple roles, while Mayor Carl Marsh and Deputy Mayor Tyler Beckett were assigned to significant intermunicipal committees. The next regular meeting is on Nov. 17.

Emerance Maschmeyer, a top goaltender, will play for the Vancouver Goldeneyes, participating in the PWHL's "Takeover Tour" this season, with two games in Edmonton: Dec. 27 and April 7. Previously with Ottawa Charge, she is a seasoned player with Olympic and World Championship accolades, excited to help build Vancouver’s hockey culture.
