CN and CP railway workers ordered back to work after stoppage

A railway strike by Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Kansas City was averted after the Canadian Industrial Relations Board ordered workers back to work. Trains resumed operations, but discontent among union workers is evident as binding arbitration approaches.

Glitch at Claystone produces foul odour

Residents of Ryley reported unpleasant odors from Claystone Waste’s compost facility due to a technical glitch affecting the aeration system. CEO Corey Popick confirmed the issue is being addressed and apologized for the inconvenience. Claystone is also developing an online form for residents to submit complaints to improve responsiveness.
