In the early morning hours of Monday, February 5, at 3:16 a.m., a grinder and a crowbar were used to gain entry in to the Tofield IGA. Cigarettes and cash were stolen.
“They entered the building through the front entrance, where the customers come in,” said Dave Hare Jr.
Operations continued as normal Monday morning, though there was some cleanup to do before they could begin serving customers.
At the time of the interview there were no suspects, though the video footage shows three individuals were involved. The RCMP was contacted for an update, did not respond by press time.
