Record cold snap rolls through Alberta

A recent cold snap in Alberta set over 38 low-temperature records, including -42.5C in Camrose, surpassing the previous record from 1998. The frigid weather prompted an emergency alert to conserve electricity, while Saskatchewan provided extra power support. The collective response helped prevent rotating outages across the province.
